If you've ever sat down to watch a film with someone and spent longer choosing what to watch than actually watching it, this is for you.
That's exactly why I built Movie Selector. My girlfriend and I were wasting half our date nights just picking a film, so I decided to solve the problem properly. The app pulls together thousands of films rated from 1980 onwards using data from IMDB and TMDB, ranks them by quality with a slight preference for newer releases, and presents them one at a time. You swipe through, mark what you've seen, skip what doesn't interest you, and save anything that catches your eye to a watchlist. The more you use it, the better it gets at understanding your taste.
I built it to be simple and fast. No accounts, no sign-ups, no data collection. Everything stays in your browser. It's free and always will be.
Next time you're stuck staring at a streaming menu, give it a try at toddhunkin.com/MovieSelector.
