I started CrossFit in 2022 and got hooked pretty fast. Most of my professional life revolves around agricultural statistics and data systems, but the analytical side of my brain doesn't switch off when I walk into the gym. Every Open season I find myself building little pacing models to figure out how to approach the workouts, plugging rep schemes and fatigue estimates into Excel spreadsheets with formulas before (and during sessions).

This year I decided to turn those personal calculations into something anyone can use. The result is an interactive pacing model for each Open workout. You set your base movement speed, plan your rep break strategy section by section, and adjust fatigue parameters to match your fitness level. The model runs an exponential fatigue curve under the hood, where each rep gets progressively slower based on cumulative work done.

The aim is to go into each workout with a plan, not just a hope.
